IDC Home is the agent for 11 award-winning Belgian interior design brands that are all new to the Canadian market. Based out of the Toronto International Design Centre (TIDC), IDC Home has opened the Belgian Design Experience Centre, a showroom that features the quality and innovation that Belgian furniture is known for around the world. IDC Home is part of a joint initiative with Fedustria (Belgian Federation for the Textile, Wood and Furniture Industry) and the Flemish government through Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT) to help promote the export of Belgian design to Canada.
In 2017 the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) came into effect. This agreement has made Belgian design more accessible to the Canadian market by removing trade limitations and reducing or eliminating customs duties and taxes for products imported from Belgium.
We provide Architects, Designers, Retailers and Landscape Architects easy access to beautiful Belgian design by alleviating the language barrier and providing local customer support and logistics management. We can welcome you to our showroom to let you explore all of the options each brand has to offer, and help you with any product inquiries. We take care of all of the logistics should you need it, so that you can focus on the end result.
